How to Make an Application
Ian Haycroft from SMSF Property Capital explains the simple application process.
Hi, my name is Ian. I’m about to walk you through the three-step application process. It’s a very simple process.
Now, once you have looked at all the information, you’re satisfied that you understand it, and you’d like to move ahead with the investment. Then the first step is called a capital allocation, takes about 30 seconds, and it, really, is just asking for your name, e-mail, and the amount that you anticipate investing. Now, soon as we receive that capital allocation request, we’ll send out to you links to the application form and the next steps.
The application form itself, also, is quite simple. It’s a form that will probably take five minutes to do. It’ll ask you for the entity information, name, ABN, addresses, that kind of information, plus your bank information. It’s quite a simple online form as well. Once you’ve filled that in and pressed Submit, you will receive a copy in your e-mail, so you’ll have a copy of what you’ve submitted. We’ll also receive that application submission in our system in the office.
Once we receive that, we ask that you send in your money to the custodian’s account within seven days. As soon as the money is cleared, we send you a receipt. And when the development reaches minimum subscription, then the funds manager will send you a unit certificate, and then you can keep up to date with exactly what’s going on with your investment in our weekly updates on the website. So thanks very much. We hope that you will take part in these steps very soon.
